Our values

Working hand in hand brings me great joy and gives us mutual strength.

Supporting small manufacturers in Italy is great. The shoes are handmade without chemicals and metals in a family business in Italy. The leather comes from Italian tanneries.

Personal contact with my customers is very important to me. I really enjoy the competent advice and personal exchange.

Supporting women is my heart's project: We support Maasai women in Kenya, Beadworkskenya, produce all printed matter including the beautiful Pavone Bags at a one-man finishing factory, Spezialdruck Franz Schiepek, in Toggenburg in Switzerland, which in turn collaborates with a workshop for the disabled, Johanitium.

All this and much more makes us so special and very special!

PAVONE

The peacock, Italian Pavone, is a symbol of pride, beauty, passion, the soul, love and the bird stands for freedom. Moccasins are originally an Indian shoe. The beautiful, colorful peacock feathers are reminiscent of the headdresses of the Indians.

I am Sandra Vogt, mother of a 5-year-old son. Originally from Hamburg, I have been living with my family in Zollikon in beautiful Switzerland for 13 years.

I took my personal motto “Everything is possible & live your dreams” to heart, seized my luck and founded Pavone in February 2021.

More than 10 years ago I bought my beloved moccasins at a market in Italy, high quality, beautiful and very comfortable. This type of shoe was not available nationally or internationally until I founded my own label Pavone. My adventure began!

My heart's desire: To do something meaningful, to be a role model for others, to support local businesses and to bring joy and lightness into people's lives.

Growing hand in hand with other small labels, organizing pop-up events, and being able to live out my creativity gives me great fulfillment and gratitude!
